Apple Watch - Day 3

If you know me,  you'll not be surprised when I say that my iphone is really annoying.  It is, by far, the best piece of technology ever built for personal human consumption. After all, it does everything and seamlessly integrates into your day.  I would really be lost without it.  But I find myself with it in my hand all the time.  I'm always looking at it -- way too much.

With too many alerts in my pocket and on my phone,  why would I want more alerts on the watch?  Easy -- I want to ditch the phone.  Enter the watch.

Yesterday -- day 3 -- as soon as I got to the office, I put my phone on the window sill and left it there all day.  The bluetooth range of the watch will let me walk anywhere on our floor (of a bank building) and still be connected.  So not once did I read an email the second it got to me... I used some less forced time-management skills and read it when I was back at my computer.  No more walking with my head down reading emails, texts, news, etc.

So -- my goal is to regain my life in a post iphone dominant world.  Well, only kind'of.  I still love my phone - just want to get away from it for a while.

More to come.
